I’ve been writing poems just for myself since I first started reading books of Carl Sandburg, and Rod McKuen. I could put my most personal thoughts and feelings there and never shared them really Til now.

The day before



He wrote to me
from another place,
not where I am today.

The words he used
played on my ear
and fell to my heart
to play.

My head was light,
My legs grew weak,
From his words
alone
I'm shaking.

Tremors of pleasure,
will take...
