He's just a man who lives by the sea, The outer world loves to call him 'Mr. Lonely'.

An Eventful Evening

Tonight, my sleep will be restless.
Long gone are the days when the earth’s heavenly voices:
Be it nature’s parade at the daybreak,
Or the peaceful stream of a creek
Used to keep me awake,
Brimmed with nature’s sweet sounds who gently speak
Of...

Battles Fought Behind a Restless Sleep

Tonight, my sleep will be restless.
Long gone are the days when the earth’s heavenly lays:
Be it nature’s parade at the daybreak,
Or the peaceful stream of a creek
Used to keep me awake,
Brimmed with nature’s sweet sounds who gently speak

The World through the Eyes of the Melancholic Ones

For a man whose bare skin has been kissed
By the softest touch of the breeze;
For a man whose eyes have found sustenance
Upon those finite, distant horizons;
And for a man whose soul has been caressed
By the brightest shade of the moon's...

Those play of languages to simply paint a picture-perfect of what everyone deems as an ordinary phenomenon of life. A very deserved winner in my book! It reminds me of why I love this thing so much. And thank you so much for that!

A strong, relatable poem that most readers can easily empathize with I think. You can see how painful it is for the mom who have to navigate such a tough situations like that both internally (to best managing her kid that's dealing with the ADHD issue with all its struggles) and externally (having to control her own emotions in response to all the noisy and careless judgments by other people who really don't know about the condition with all its challenges).
