A Tearful Day

A tearful day.

Rain pouring down in gray sky afternoon.

Everything so peaceful. Putting everything in

 a standstill so broad.

Each raindrop that drips and dangles across the cable wires of a lamp post above my head.

 Amber headlights...

All Day Prayer

Is this real Is what I say
Whats the ordeal I'll face today
WILL someone replace all that's mine
Only God knows I've taken the time
Attempting to show the world who I really am
More than just a little Black Woman
That tries everyday

S. frosty

As the world’s greatest poet, that the world has never known.
It allows me to stroll seamlessly, in any town I roam.

Talk to people, tell my shmeel, show them where it’s at.
Some will light up in their eyes and some just say nice hat.

When looking for God, the things seen are that.
Always a top, any perception i’m at.

Step into his shoes and he steps above.
Feeling what’s left, an abundance of love.

Kicking the tires, on this giant of a me.
Pulling out ideas, of how...

Throwing Arrows at the Dark

I sometimes throw my arrows at
The darkness in my soul.
My compound bow is saying that
Peace ought to be my goal!

I do agree that peace is more
Important though I hear
Someone "release the dogs of war"; *
More battles coming here!

I...

Complacent

After an hour or two I grew hungry, not at the stale food or the plate of e(m)pty strings. I wasn’t event satiated by the lies shoved down my throat. T(r)uth was blurry from then onwards and I could clutch my black and white tie, humming a song of...

Why do you stare and gaze?

Why do you stare and gaze?

I wish I could go out where people don't stare. With my disabilities, I may or may not use a wheelchair. But deep inside, we are all the same. I know it's not your fault; you are not the blame, you walk on by. Yet you...

A most enjoyable day

I have had a most enjoyable day, indeed,
Out and about, in my own manner.
I have seen some delightful sights, I must say,
And had a pleasant cup of tea, I dare say?

I have strolled down the stairs,
And taken a glance at the flowers and trees....

Faith Grows

I intend by reminding you,
Wherefore not to be negligent;
Of the characters that are true,
That you remain as diligent.

You know them to establish truth,
As long as I shall be alive;
Stir up reminders from your youth,
That will be helping...

Exceptional will

I accept dear lord
Your exceptional will
The mood is high
The mindset still
My joy above the highest hill
I accept dearest lord
Your exceptional will

I accept dear lord
Your impeccable truth
My spirit high
My heartbeat true
The light...

Through The Mist

Virtuoso
take me home
to a place
I’ve never been before

Virtuoso
play my song
in a voice
I’ve never heard in lore

Virtuoso
be my Muse
your flute heard calling
through the mist

Virtuoso
fortune’s child
when darkness casts
— my...
