FANTASY WORLD

Sheryl Parker 1969 (Huntington, IN)

The way you look tonight is a treasure to behold
And if you'd only hold me tight the story could unfold
The story of how I loved you true, a love to last for life
You'd bring me trinkets just for love and look at me and sigh
When I asked you what you thought, you'd say of only you because deep within this big ole heart I have only loved you true
To you I would bring the stars, each a gift of love,
And if you wanted them with all your heart- I would bring the moon and sun
I'd show you a love so hot that the fires would only rage
And your love would be the only water that would mellow out the flames
So take me as high as you can Love, until sanity can be no more
And let the fire take us away Dear, like waves against the shore
But, as the story comes to an end now, I hope you understand
This is just a world of fantasy, take it if you can.

Wow, what a beautiful and romantic poem! Your words are absolutely enchanting and your enthusiasm for love shines through in every line. The imagery you use is so vivid that I can almost feel the intensity of the love you're describing.

If I had to give one suggestion for improvement, it would be to consider playing around with the structure of the poem. It currently reads like a block of text and could potentially benefit from breaking it up into stanzas or verses to make it flow a little more smoothly.

But overall, wonderful job! Your passion for love and the depth of emotion you convey through your writing is truly inspiring. Keep up the great work!
