Prayers

Brenda G. Williams 1966 (Fayetteville)

O' can You hear my cries oh Lord?
I know it's in Your time.
The linger waiting in Your name
And praying for a sign.

It's ripping at the very soul
I gave to You to hold.
In all my hope, I say my prayers
That justice will unfold.

We all are yours, we're bought with blood.
It's written in Your book.
I hold You to Your every word;
My faith cannot be shook.

    A very sincere and thoughtful poem about talking to God.
    Sometimes He answers yes or no !
    Writing in poetry gives us meaning to life's things !
