The girl of my dream

The forest i saw today
was just a dream
My eyes were drawn to a girl
making my heart gleam!!

She had curly hair
with charming eyes
seeing the butterflies taking flight
was purely a delight!!

I want to go in the same dream
just to see her
The beauty on her face
can even outshine a pearl

The years went by, and
the months turned to rain
I still use to see the dreams
but never saw the same dream again.......

PRATIK POKHAREL

Name: Praik Pokharel Class: 12 Age: 17 Hobby: Exploring Nature and Expressing Through Writing, Music, and More Favorite Poet: Pablo Neruda Aspiration: Aspiring Poet and Creative Storyteller Hey there, I'm Praik Pokharel, a 17-year-old student in Class 12 with an insatiable thirst for discovering the hidden treasures of the natural world. Nature isn't just a part of my life – it's the very heart of my creative spirit. I'm that guy you'll find with a pen and notebook in hand, lost in the beauty of a sunlit meadow or the secrets of a tranquil forest. My world is a canvas where I blend the hues of my explorations with the melodies of my thoughts. From the rustling leaves to the distant echo of a waterfall, every aspect of nature becomes a part of my symphony. I'm as much a storyteller as a wanderer, finding stories in the veins of leaves, poems in the ripples of a pond, and music in the whispers of the breeze. Pablo Neruda's verses are my guiding star – his words a testament to the magic of language and the allure of the natural world. Like Neruda, I believe that there's a profound connection between nature and human emotions, waiting to be unveiled through the art of expression. While I might be a student today, my aspirations stretch far beyond the classroom walls. I see myself as a poet who doesn't just write words on paper, but crafts an entire world of imagination and emotion. Through my poems, stories, and music, I aim to invite others to step into my realm of wonder, to experience the beauty that lies beyond the surface. As I pen down my dreams and strum the chords of my aspirations, I envision a future where my words dance like leaves in the wind, where my melodies resonate in the hearts of listeners, and where my passion for nature's marvels sparks a flame of inspiration in all who encounter my creations. more…
