When we were kids
When we were kids.“ as a kid when things seem to be less worries and items were cheap , when you heard the old fashioned clock just tick and not beep !
Kicking the sand with friends ; walking as a child on the beach feeling the sand.. Couldn’t wait to get home from school being hungry listening to the sound of bees buzzing humbly . Looking for honey on a beautiful day ; hot and sunny Leisure time is a child’s best time kid’s nowadays ain’t into bedtime stories and nursery rhythms , They want to grown up fast wearing makeup and stilettos in the streets of many getthos ; little ones mature fast getting hurt before 21 and most of their lives don’t last No more backflips and jump ropes and one cartwheel ,never having a real childhood to tell you how kids feel giong to the store eating now laters and lemon heads and jolly ranchers policing the neighborhoods with plenty of black panthers Never realizing that this is your best youth ; To enjoy , I remember some kids didn’t have a single toy ! Mom was excellent raising us as youngsters Watching the monsters on tv from school never realized it wasn’t cool Full of energy and fresh vigor
children today own guns and want to pull a trigger ! playing in the playground and hanging from the monkey bars ‘ Looking up to people in the neighborhood as if they were stars ; No father around in the home single women as parents feeling all alone , Being a kid is a beautiful experience and many life long lessons may you live to enjoy adulthood blessings.
