What Truth Are You Looking For?

We know right from wrong and good from the bad
where truth has dimensions and viewpoints to scan
Facts to be proven and from honest research had
Opinions can be forceful, but may not feel right
While the truth can be hidden in a far softer song
Than vociferous eloquence, often crushingly wrong

A search for the truth in what we seek, or must face
Can be answered by facts we should gladly embrace
With an aspect of challenge and with critical eyes
To avoid the temptation of comfortable lies
So be true to yourself and be kind when you speak
With those yet to discover the truth that they seek.
