My girls

In the darkness of night I watch you sleep
Laying there without a care so peacefully
Not knowing the tears that I cry
Not knowing all the pain I try to hide
Pure and beautiful you lay there
Lucky for me you aren’t aware
Of the daily struggles that I go through
To make sure I have all I need for you
Sure this is not your fault, but mine
I should have worked out a better time
But you are here lying in your bed
And I love you like nothing I ever loved, and I can’t pretend
You give me hope, love, and so much more
Your every smile penetrates my inner core
As you sleep I get a chance to think
How you are growing so fast within a blink
Please know this if nothing else
That I love you more then life itself

These are but written photos of my life, my mind, and those around me captured as best as I could in words. I'm not a trained writer so my style is of no particular way. I have long detailed poems and short to the point ones. My hope is that you can see what I have seen feel what i felt with out braking your head trying to figure out what I meant. Enjoy! more…
