CHARACTERS INSIDE OF A STORY
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
Everyone is some sort of a character in someone else's story for how long they stay remains on how long the words are that they need to say and the lesson that they were sent to teach even when they are gone the angels and demons are still within our reach.
I do not know what I care to tell but this story is my own along with my happiness I do not look at others for approval or to understand after all these years upon my head I just want to remain a simple man
There are so many damn characters inside of this fucking book that I so carefully call my life and after proofreading all those damn chapters as a reader I do not know who to trust yet I know there is some poor bastard that I must. I find myself wanting to light a double-wick candle to burn these pages while asking why these characters inside of this story carry so much anger to the point that all they want to do is rage as for me the storyteller the almighty poet I feel as if I am caught up inside of the walls of this self-made cage
Another sleepless night with half-written words on random pieces of paper I even found a napkin with mustard and ketchup stains from the local hot dog stand with in my opinion my craziest shit yet oh my how those sweet soft kisses from the characters inside of a story take you away for even a moment so we can just say f*ck it lets slip inside these sentences that run on and have us forget. guilty as charged the characters inside of my stories are large because I am the reflections of them all and memories lose meaning without words or pictures so inside of this book of revolving characters I choose to love them all as together we stand tall
For I am the author and I know the characters that hide inside the story
