THE NIGHT VISITOR
The night visitor calls
On those he means to kill,
To satifise his lustings
All for a dreadful thrill.
The visitor comes calling
On those about to die,
Raping, mauling, murdering
Just for his mad delight.
A madman comes a’calling
Spreading terror, spreading fear,
Victims whine like puppies
As their death draws near.
An evil fiend is spreading
Despair and loathing round,
As he stalks the pitch-black night
Within this fright-filled town.
Footpaths are strangely empty
The streets are dark and drear,
As people cower locked inside
In a town that’s lost to fear.
For only fools stray outside
Within this awful town,
As an evil visitor does lurk
As he does his evil rounds.
Doctor Death is on the prowl
Yearning to take another life,
To rob a poor man of his hope
To cruelly use his wife.
The visitor has come at last
To take away young innocence,
Young and old fall before him
For most have no defence.
The visitor will stalk this town
Till terror has reached a peak,
Then on he moves to further fields
Committing deeds too foul to speak.
