Analysis of Wings In Fall
In fall, the limbs feel
the red rising butterflies
or their falling leaves
like bleeding palms. Cannot fly.
'Tis a distinct sense of life.

About this poem
We cannot stop the disappearance of the butterflies. They become a symbol of endangered life. These butterflies use their beautiful wings to fly in an aerial dance until they find the nectar of the flowers, those flowers making fruits to hold seeds, those seeds sprouting into new plants. Redwings and leaves in the wind look like sores in the sunny sky.
