Analysis of SURVIVE NO MORE

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

In this moment of reflection, in this second of brief tears I hear my inner child whispering it is ok we can now let go of all of our fears that we kept bottled up throughout the years.

As an adult, I no longer blame myself for what I needed to do to survive. I walked so many damn streets trying to find my house but never on my way found a home, each passing house had me feel more like I was alone.

Now I am walking a path  somewhat of a journey-filled road seeing every single version of me from birth, childhood, and my teenage years wondering how I got this far and realizing my scars are not me, telling myself no longer do I need to survive all I need to do is take a deep breath and say I am blessed to be alive
