Analysis of Crimson Tears
What is a tear ?
But a crimson drop
From your silent heart
Blown and cropped
In a sun striped border
In pink chiffon hue
The bubbled parcels
They shimmer like dew
To carry your language
From an ancient time
But not shall I know
Nor pay it in kind
For tears are yours
To release and ask
Why don’t I listen
From behind my mask?
So the crimson and red
So red they shall be
For the life and the days
For you and for me
Drop after drop
Splash after splash
They break over ground
In a love torn gash
So never again on
Earth shall we meet
Our blessed touch
Only dreams shall keep
And return your tears
To your crimson heart
That I’ve left forever
And now tears me apart
