Analysis of sincerely, regret

So you searched for what you could not find
How much pain from the ties that bind
Do you still believe in a love with no lines
I used to

Have you traveled far disregarding the signs
Holding tight to the light that no longer shines
Did you work so hard on your box of pine
I did too

So you fed at the trough and cursed the swine
Need you remember your crimes
Do you think you can honestly leave them behind
I tried to

Have you opened your eyes and wished you were blind
Let the pain unwind
Would you ever sever your heart for peace of mind
Too many do

So gather your tears and open the wine
Hear the bells at the empty church chime
It has been a long day, will you stay and dine
I would love for you to
