Analysis of Recipe For Any Season
Recipe For Any Season
Under a starry night
past the corner mailbox
furred by fresh snow
under any bell or bough
to a warm kitchen we go
drawn by butter on hot
biscuits melting oh so slow
add then equal amounts
of heartfelt benevolence
to someone close with
blood already boiling
and allow their mood to simmer;
season with a sweetened grin.
Stir in colloquy or spicy humor;
add a smile. Sprinkle with
your favorite fantasy.
A measure of good health
to aid their well-being
is highly suggested.
If you like you may render
with well-intentioned but misguided
relatives; add them, thinly sliced
and go away for a while.
Enjoy your career or raise a family.
Embark on a journey.
Let rise over a lifetime,
until golden or glory comes forth.
Place in your already
well-seasoned environment.
Cherish forever.
