Analysis of Impetuous, Becky

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

You charge through this world with lusting and craving.
Not considering the people our Good Lord is saving.
You shouldn’t just go and throw people away;
Like pieces of trash but some day you’ll pay.
You’ll pay for the sorrow and harm that you caused.
You’ll pay for the hearts that you broke.
You’ve got balls!
Now you’re all filled with pride and you think you’re winning.
But the judgment of God will leave your head spinning.
