Though

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

Though my head hurts
And my feet are blistered
I'll walk to you
Through the coldest blizzard
Though my heart aches
And your door is closed
My body shaken and left bruised
I think of you as a ray if light
Always radiant if not always right
Forgive me. Forgive me.
These bags so heavy.
For I always return
Broken not burned.
For your light is my beaken;
My safety; my call
You are my love
You are my all.
