THE TRUE NATURE OF POWER

Laying in the shadows of deepened crevices of the mountain
Buried are the pragmatic cries of those now gone
Honour and Bravery that should never be forgotten
Forever their once beating hearts will always belong

Since the beginning of time there has been this insatiable need
Senseless cruelty, pain and death have reigned supreme
The value of life weighed against corruption and greed
A continual battle still raging no end in sight it would seem

A prelude for a planet on the edge of being pushed too far
The devestation of destruction flowing on currents of air
Reaching every corner of Mother Earth covered in blood and tar
A fate that will be sealed unless we begin to care

Maniacal leaders treating the masses as fools
Their own agendas is all that they perceive
Using people for their own means as disposable tools
Yet so many still choose to blindly believe

Let strength of spirit be the seeds that are sown
Do not be afraid in a darkened corner and cower
We must all come together and let it be known
When rain drops gather creating a shower
This is the True Nature of Power.
