Please!

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

The Truth will soon be in full bloom
Then every life will be consumed
The bad will be spit out again
The good are happily welcomed in

The kingdom will consume the earth
When righteousness is given birth
But things will not be perfect then
On earth there will be wicked men

I hope that you won’t stand with them
I’d rather have you be my friend
Do you love Jesus? Want his wealth?
Then grab your bible off the shelf

But this time mix the word with faith
You’ll see it has a better taste
To know that you are heaven bound
And there your address can be found

It is really good. So please come home.
Do not walk in darkness all alone!
I still love you. Please come home.
