Walk the DawG

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

To leave your food for an evil plot
Is to have a bible and read it not
A house should be built on a solid foundation
It’s not good to die with a bad reputation

If you’re walking alone and a storm overtakes you
There is no one to help when the wind starts to shake you
When you claim you don’t sin then you call God a liar
If you play with the flames you’ll get burned by the fire

He makes his angels winds and his servants flames of fire
Our God is a consuming fire
