The Branch

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

I just want to encourage you,
To never go away!
I would like to let you know;
I love you every single day.

Sometimes a branch falls from a tree,
But not far from its roots;
Your words and deeds which fall like rain;
Reflect your attitude!

The Holy One of Israel,
Demands a love that is true.
He wants to call you friend and come
And make His home with you!

The curtain of the temple,
Which concealed the Most Holy Place;
Was torn in two when Jesus died,
So, you could seek His face!
