Every Easter, a visitor.

Big backyard in primary years
Grassy, spacious, lilies near.
Looked expecting
Yes again
Bunny visits without fear.
Nuzzles grasses
Pads large f
Floppy ears don’t skip a beat.
Robin trots beside him bold.
Back from Chesapeake, I am told.

Easter Rabbit?
Gone that tale.
Jewish neighbour kid
Made it fail.
Still the custom.
Still that hare.
Made my little eyes.
Easter aware.
