Repeat just one more beat

I doubt I'll forget the beat of your heart
The distant mind within my kiss tart
Bitter in your hands and too delicate pettle
Moved me to your fire
Then covered me in petrol
Yet your eyes were hurt by my reckless aims
In unfertile lands there were little gains
You lept from the burn of our electric hug
And one day we'll fade with the world we dearly love
Will exquisite rains still fall on rapid seas
On distant planets waiting for you and me
Will flowers one day grow in the doom
Me as the stem, you as the bloom.
What of a heaven without your sweet hands
What of an angel who can't understand
For what God or creator we appear here
To bare the lasting breadths of these teers
And if nought then what have we brought?
