By the Power of Love

Gaudencio V. Balongcas 1955 (Lalaguna, Lopez, Quezon)

By the power of love everything’s possible,
Written and testified by the Holy Bible;
Proven by Almighty with His love and wisdom,
He gave His Only Son from His throne and kingdom.

Jesus, the Son of God gave His life to mankind,
To wash away their sins and truth for them to find;
He cleansed the erring souls with His blood that’s divine,
By the power of love making them glow and shine.

By the power of love man shall live peacefully,
And the justice prevails all is good and justly;
There’ll be no war on earth all shall be in glory;
The happiness abounds to nation and country.

By the power of love no act of invasions,
Shall ever reign the world and throughout all nations!

About this poem

I wrote this poem because I do wonder how great God's love for mankind is. It signifies what love can do and the mystery it upholds.
