Suffering will Cease

     Suffering will Cease

There is no place where you can go
Where Jesus has not been
There are no words that can describe
The peace that dwells within
When love beyond all beauty
Enwraps the heart that’s low
And pours out oil of gladness
Perfuming head to toe
Inner joy just radiates
Like flowers in full bloom
The Holy Spirit’s cleansing work
Like sunbeams in a room
Allows the soul to dance again
And offers hope once more
It overcomes the anxious thoughts
And soothes the aching sore
The tongue is free to worship then
In words of utter praise
Though man himself can’t comprehend
Nor understand God’s ways
And from the depths of deep despair
There comes a mighty wind
An overwhelming peace is born
Which covers all man’s sin
If you suffer let your hope
Be only in the Lord
Hang on to life with all you have
Whilst resting in God’s word
Be listening for the still small voice
And know that you are loved
By all of those who know you here
And Jesus from above
Realize too that when He died
You died there with Him too
In Christ you will become alive
Death has no power on you
God seeds you into Him by faith
You’re budded into Christ by grace

About this poem

The end of this world as we know it is nearing. Man has forgotten, or chooses not to believe God is in control of this world, always has been and always will be. Proverbs Chapter 16 verse 4 says God created all things for His purpose, even the wicked for the day of disaster. Man sadly laughs at the suggestion that another Noah situation could occur or such like. He ignores the prophets of old, Iaiah Chapters 10 11, 12 and Revelation Chapter 1 as poppycock. The war in Israel is pointing a finger at the future happenings predicted thousands of years ago. My poem hopefully will reach out to others, that they might understand their only hope rests in believing Christ died for them and that belief will somehow allow them to be budded into Christ at the very end of time and give them new life forever. Now we are tarrd here with Adam's brush - in Christ we will be set sin free.
