Puzzle Set

This little box made out of cardboard,
hundreds of pieces called it home
Each piece was shaped unalike, yet connected
They were meant to create a picture;
different for every set

One is at odds, was put in the wrong box
It was red in a set of blue ocean
Incompatible even at first glance
The others can't welcome it,
even when demanded

Leaving an incomplete set
and a futile piece of puzzle
