Grass

Grass comes apart

wen I lie down on it

Seperate and flat

Youth is seperate,

lives unto itself

No need to glance

in a mirror,

see the damage done

by the surgeon of years,

see hanging flesh,

scar tissue of time,

creasing in places

that once shined like grass
