Climb into My '61

Climb into my '61,
And I'll show you how love is done.
A classic rod a cubic beast,
And whitewall tires to prowl the streets.
Slide right over, next to me,
And see why classics have bench seats.
Slam the stick into drive,
And feel this thing come alive!
One hand on the steering wheel,
The other going where it will,
Drive with me all through town,
I'll be your Clyde, we'll burn it down.
Everyone will stare at us,
Driving by as we impress,
And though they love a muscle car,
Tonight I'm sure you are the star.
To see you sitting here by me,
It fills them with such jealousy,
Having something that they can't,
I become so arrogant.
When you decide you've had enough,
We'll drive to where the roads are rough,
A private place I know about,
Where it's OK for you to shout.
We'll kill the lights and park the car,
Guided by a shooting star,
In the grass so fresh with dew,
I'll spend the night alone with you.
Lay a blanket in the dark,
And see if flesh can strike a spark.
