I decided to take up writing poetry about 3 years ago. I used read a lot when I was younger being a shy introvert who was somewhat seen as a misfit. I find it to be very relaxing and therapeutic. My escape from everyday life. I am a fan of haikus, tankas, sonnets, rhyming poetry and stylistic poetry such as E. E. Cummings.
