Analysis of Untitled
We tried to paint Elysium
using brushes made of rust
Our trees bore only acrid fruit
Air suffused with ash and dust
Good intentions marred by bruises
Paradise now spoiled by war
This place; not fit for favored men
Just a coward and his whore
Looking back; contrived connection
Desperation made us bend
but now we've come to realize
ransacked hearts can never mend
