Analysis of The Vitality of Channels

The Vitality of Channels

The days have streamed me by,
Thereby time is held to no account.
As each river withers,
The channels of life remain uncivil.
With another hour being borrowed,
Minutes have turned sinful.
The hearts remain woven,
But hope is being swindled,
Telling the tales of the unspoken,
But The Vitality of Channels,
Are here to prevail over the broken.
The depths of the psyche,
Are coined by the same tokens,
Good as woken,
But what does that matter?
Until justice willingly falls open.
So let us set ourselves in motion,
And bleed a fraction of the same emotion.
Then maybe the hearts of humanity will one day reopen.
So let the day stream me by,
Because laws of morality continue to be defied.
Where is justice to be found?
In a room full of deafening crowds?
As I look at the ground,
The tears the rivers have wept
Is enough to make my ego drown.
Thereby the channels are forced to retreat,
Because truth has finally found its feet.
Just incase falsehood attempts to flee,
And sail us away to a day
Where they will taste their bittersweet verbal plea.

The Vitality of Channels
Is here to tell a story,
Of a river who once wept in sorrow.
Will be a living witness and will one day testify,
And on that day,
All truth will be satisfied.

About this poem

My poem "The Vitality of Channels," is a powerful and introspective piece that delves into themes of time, justice, morality, and truth. The imagery I use, such as rivers, channels, and weeping, effectively conveys a sense of both despair and resilience. I’ve crafted a narrative that speaks to the struggle of seeking justice in a world that often defies it and leave room for for hope, suggesting that truth will ultimately prevail. This poem was created in a time where I felt compelled to write about hardship, war and patience. We live in a society that imposes mental amnesia upon us, we forget that there are families that are getting their lives taken from them, mothers losing their children, children becoming orphans and men unable to protect their loved ones from this happening. This poem brings hope, pain, anguish and most important factor of all justice.
