Analysis of Beyond the realm of the obvious

At times I wonder what beauty is?

What soothes the soul,
what truly can satiate our being.

Is it just what meets the eye ?
Or is it something that we overlook due to the blinkers sewn savagely around our consciousness !

I closed my eyes and I could finally see,
from the oblivion, I was eventually free.

I could feel and I could cherish,

the symphony created by the patches of  silent numbness,
that interlude to the relentless cacophony of emotions.

the pattern emerging from the blanks strewn accidentally,
on a canvas otherwise drenched vulgarly with desires of every color.

the exhilaration of that inarticulate line of truth,
breaking the monotonous lucidity of ballads reeking of compliance.

the freshness of that in-odorous sob, standing timidly,
in the perfume factory of the farce felicities of every kind.

I now wander, beyond the realm of the obvious,

seeking these imperfections, that in essence,
breath meaning into our pursuit of perfection..
