Analysis of At Your Funeral

there will be poetry at your funeral
not sweet tributes
no cliche mourning
from a poet himself long dead
nothing so impersonal poetry will be there
in the eyes of friends
as they lean over your casket
upon the lips of your lover
during that lasy kiss
poetry of memory
held so dear
in one collective heart
flowing with chaos
un-rhymed dissymetry
that was once a life
and is now punctuated by tears
