Analysis of I Refuse

I refuse to go down to the pit.
I refuse to let my mind be depress.
I refuse to give my talents and gifts rest.
I refuse not to be the best.
I refuse to feel defeated again.
I refuse to give in.

I refuse to be sick.
I refuse to give my enemies authority over me.
I refuse to let my soul be wounded.
I refuse to just lie down and die.
I refuse to quit.

I refuse to get angry and have fits.
I refuse to be scared to shine.
I refuse to give the enemy my mind.
I refuse to be use for evil.
I refuse to not see and hear with God spiritual eyes and ears.

I refuse to be but in a category, for I am unique.
I refuse to feel bad because you don’t know who I am.
Go to God for the answers to define me;
because, God created me different,
and only He can describe to you, who I am.
Because I refuse all of this!
