Analysis of Nightwings
In dreams I am a raven,
on darkened wings I soar,
through silent silver moonbeams
the heavens to explore
the night time brings me freedom
to fly amidst my mind,
my fantasy and reason
are blurred and redefined
I know no limitations,
no laws command my will,
no righteous confinement
that earthly worlds instill
Distance is no obstruction,
no shore too far away,
no, icy ,bleak, cold mountain peak
my eyes cannot survey.
If in the starry blackness,
our wandering souls should meet,
and share in awestruck wonder,
my dreams will be complete.
