Analysis of Piece Of Mind

Peter Ganzel 2005 (Michigan)

Satisfaction I cannot find
With all these thoughts running through my mind
Hundreds of goals I have achieved
But all these memories that won’t seem to leave

All the time things came with ease
Spreading through my head like a raging disease
But success is never something you can guarantee
Failure is the door and experience is the key

In my head seeds are being planted
Forcing me to take things for granted
But the older I get the more I understand
People can help but they won’t hold your hand

The confidence I seek will only help me grow
I don’t want to feel weak so I go with the flow
