Violation

Open your eyes child, there is so much beauty to be found
Still feeling hurt from them knock you on the ground
Tell you to be quite for you’ll be dead if you make a sound
Now your head is reeling as your shattered trust lay all around
All the scattered criss-cross thoughts
Stomach all twisted up in knots
Now you wiggle your big toe & you rise to your feet
You’re not going to die there, freezing & naked on the street
Want to seek justice but they put a price on it
Good Ole’ boys with their lies stenched like a pile of shit
Cold & dark down a dead path
Keep moving forward, cause there’s no looking back
You were feeling great and so sure of yourself
Now you’re struggling to rise and take care of your health
Disconnected from your spirit, hidden deep inside, broken from within
Clinging to it’s life force, fetal position, unsure if it will beat again
The spirit can sense the pumping of the physical heart, entranced by the sound
Perceive the pressure of the rushing blood, forcefully Moving through the valve where their bound.
Pain and weakness taking over, as you feel striped down to the bare bone
Leaving your heart iced over hard like a solid stone
Your life force is strong and you won’t let them take it
You’ve just begun to fight, never going to stop, never going to quit
The healing of the self is the first step you must take
Working to recalibrate the view in each new moment you make
Forgiving the universe for the betrayal you felt
Forgiving the earth, forgiving this life, this hand you were dealt
Letting it go, giving it back, it was never yours to carry anyway
Overcoming, taking back, the power in the healing when you pray
Feel the rain on your skin once more
See what Abba has for you on the other side of that door
Reclaim your rights they can never take from you
Be patient in your healing, for  INI will see it through
