Bring the smile back

I have missed the feel of love
that would linger in the air
children laughing as they play
and every one used to care

Now days have become so dark
people to scared to say hello
they walk a mile the other way
so their fear just won't show

I miss those smiling faces
we used to pass each day
no one looks at you any more
as they don't know what to say

But will we take a stand
and take our freedom back
to see the smiling faces
now hidden by a mask
