Hot Commodity

You are a hot commodity. The last piece of shrimp in the boil that everyone craves with the best touch of seasoning. You don’t see what I do through these lenses. There is no end to what I would do for you. A queen recognizes how to treat a king, not because she is desperate, she just knows it’s essential to follow suit. I’m a trophy in a world full of medallions. You would be boss with a real one on ya arm. Riding In Your front seat while we hit the streets, makes ‘em stare and wonder who is he with she. A hot commodity. This is genuine energy. Not hiding who I am to reveal later a new me. Silently displaying my feelings for you daily,  it’s no gimmick, Wishing you would pay attention to the hints. Fighting and restraining not to move with haste as I know organic is how you move. With me I promise it’s nothing you will need to Fix. I fit so perfectly in your world. A helpmate to the castle you hold down alone. Wanting to be there on those nights you just need comfort, truly making your house a home. Still I come, no matter the distance. Watching me, you have to understand there is nothing that would hold me back from when you need me. Don’t say much, but speaks up when the energy gets shifty. You are a tough cookie. One most would throw a towel n run. Not me. A hot commodity. I don’t compete. None could be me, be me for you naturally handling you with sincerity. Silently holding back emotions and being patient.  Wanting this time around to be different. Unfinished sentences lie between us, allow Me to be there, don’t shelf Me. Always solid and in your corner. A hot commodity indeed, love is what you seek, loyalty comes in me. I’m so ready to give what you don’t notice. Been loving you low key, yet I play the wave accordingly. A hot commodity, stop fighting..come n get me. Slow and steady as I wait..you Ready ?
