Valued More To Treasure

When one has earned a peaceful life.
To arrive by surprise.
After spending decades facing,
Disappointments.
And man-made obstacles,
Placed intentionally in one's way.
With demeaning words heard,
On a daily basis meant to discourage.
That peace to receive,
Becomes more precious than possessions.
And valued more to treasure,
Than impressions falsely made.
To know it takes faith, motivation.
Accompanied by a 24/7 determination.
That propels one to keep moving forward.
With a belief they can and will succeed!

'I am so happy for you.
It may have taken time.
But you finally accomplished,
What was done to succeed.'

'And...
I thank you for those comments.'

'No problem.
You know me.
I had your back.'

'I am aware of that.'
You provided the incentive too!'

'Incentive?'

'Yes.
You actions inspired me.
It took me awhile,
To heal from the wounds.
However...
You can witness to see,
I have fully recovered!'

'I...well...I don't know what to say.'

'I am sure you will find the words,
To express what you have observed...
With others.'

'I...uh...what?'

'Your enthusiasm.
To see me doing so well.'

'Oh.
Right!
Right.
And, that I will.
You can bet on it.'

'I have already taken that risk.
To have won.'

'Yeah. Right.
You have!
You do appear,
Calm, collected and mentally peaceful!'

'And...
Like I said,
Thank you for providing the incentive.'

'I don't know what to said.'

'That's okay.
I knew all along,
I wasn't wrong about your intentions!
