Light on

Light on

I know everything happens for a reason like the saying goes
To not take anything for granted and let things naturally flow
Trying not to force the outcome of nature plan
Hoping for someday to experience real love in this lifespan

Still searching the globe tirelessly still to no avail
Not giving up hope because before winning in life you must fail
Like a wandering soul waiting  in the darkness to be found
Keeps searching for the light but so far not even a sound

The endless dreamer they call him caged up wanting to be set free
Bounded by the chains of loneliness he questions his humanity
He knows he has lots to offer but hasn't had many opportunities
Often questioning himself about what's missing? his personality...?

Many mysteries still remain but it's not for the lack of trying...
Maybe looked at the wrong places and ended up left to dry
As usual, he gets hurt because he jumped before looking ahead
Without checkings the signs of the many flags being red

He may be the gullible type and ends up in the wrong often
But he's at least genuine but needs to learn to take precautions
For he'll continue to make mistakes more than he can think of
That hasn't stopped him to keep trying until he finds love.
