Verboten Love

Two tortured souls in a wayward hell,
As our passion leads us to that place of pure delight.
The secrets we dare not tell,
Dreams tossed down the wishing well,
of forbidden love and secret lies,
Pain inflicted and long lost lies.

A love that burned too deep,
A secret I'm trying to keep,
Your embrace is my safe harbor,
and your presence is my haven.

I tried to hide my beautiful scars that reminds me,
Who I was, who I am and who I'll never be again.
As each morning unfolds of me everyday,
You came and made me forget all this things.

I know that sins are reckoned,
A sin of the deepest dye.
I would turn my back on things supernal,
Gladly would barter my hopes of heaven and all the bliss of eternity.

For never a joy that angels are keeping,
to lay my feet at paradise.
As your strong arms slowly creeping
to lay there for a little while.

To know for a moment you are mine,
I would bear unending tortures sweetly,
with not a murmur and not a moan.
A lighter sin or a lesser error.
No fear and hell has no terror.
He's not mine and i don't think he ever will be...
