Advertising Without Purpose

Advertising Without Purpose

Public relations spinning best tales, carefully curated industrial crap
Frame facts, framing carefully selected facts, framing, framing, framing
Who first invented fake news, no one asks, why not, such good intentions

All messages on point, advertising with purpose, advertising with a permit
Only the facts, carefully curated facts, advertising a point, just good business
Leave out what doesn't fit, don't confuse the buyer, only the best grammar

1889 Westinghouse himself, hired two men, to publicize alternating current
First use of the name, public relations, first used to push, a personal pet project
Dreams have always been shaping reality, but when did reality become a dream

Coincidence that electricity created electric cars, then threw them off a cliff
Pushing alternative energy into a forgotten back seat, left by the side of the road
Dr Frankenstein created Frankenstein, then tried to throw his creation off a cliff

Everything we have created, living a life of its own, right alongside our lives
Not paying us the slightest bit of attention, bigger than our loftiest goals
Using everything we use, tools we are, used by the very creations we created
