Husband and Father
She reasons like a little child
But she can’t tell you why
And if you rebuke her
You know she will start to cry
She gets so doggone ornery
But she isn’t three years old
And so, it isn’t cute
When she gets stubborn; angry, cold
If she could you know she would
Just stomp her little feet
I prefer it when she doesn’t
Angry looks don’t taste that sweet
I do not understand my wife
She’s usually very smart
But when she starts getting ornery
She kicks over every cart
Sometimes your daughter needs correction
Sometimes your wife does too
But when you do remember kindness
She looks up to you
