The spirt of the night

The spirt of the night
Sits high up
Above the city
With an eagles view
Of the souls that
Dwell within the
Streets
But
On this one
Particular night
The spirt
Witnesses a robbery
In progress
Down in a
Alley way along side
Of the soccer stadium
The spirit leaps from
His perch, and glides
To a closer
Building
But the victim
Takes of running
From the attackers
The crooks peruse
As the spirt sprints
Across the
Buildings following
The action
From the shadows
With curiosity.
The attackers catch
Up with the victim.
They jump him
And beat him badly
But they don't kill him
And they don't take
Anything from him
As they take off running
Leaving the victim
Lying in the middle of
The streets
The spirt sprints across
The roof tops until
He reaches a building
Above the victim
Who is lying
Dazed in the middle
Of the streets
Not really moving
But he is in
A lot of pain
As the spirit
Observes him
The spirit
Then leaps from
The building
And lands in
The streets
The spirit slowly
Approaches the victim
And takes on the form
Of a human man
The victim reaches
Out his hand
And says to the
Spirit
"I don't have any money."
The spirit then speaks as he
Gets closer to the victim
"It is not money I come for,
But this will not hurt.
Just stay calm"
The spirit grabs the victims
Hand and immediately
The victim’s wounds
Began healing
The victim takes a deep breath
And says to the spirit
I wish you were here
Sooner.
The spirit helps up off the
Ground
And says to him
"You should go now."
The victim locks eyes with
The spirit, and then the
Spirit turns and walks back
Into the shadows of the night
Were he returns back
To his original form.
