It Really Matters Not To Me

Rough and thorny my path may be,
It really matters not to me.
Ever upward I’ll fix my eyes,
To the Creator of the skies.
For He alone gives me hope,
Else in the darkness I would grope.
Spiritual eyesight has helped me see,
Why Jesus’s blood was shed for me.
Though in this life my tears must flow,
Water they are for my character to grow.  
Yes, rough and thorny my path may be,
It really matters not to me.
