I LAY AWAKE AT NIGHT

I lay awake at night sometimes and I can't get to SLEEP
you move away from my touch sometimes and it hurts me so DEEP.
I'm sorry you feel as though you no longer CARE
this tells me something about us though, you don't want me HERE.
At first you were affectionate and couldn't get enough of ME now it seems you don't want me around and you've hurt me SERIOUSLY
My mind tells me to pack my things and be on my WAY
my heart tells me don't go anywhere because you know you want to STAY
But I can't keep laying awake at night knowing that I want you so BAD tell me how something so good for us could turn into something so SAD
If you still love me in the way that you've EXPLAINED
come a little closer to me and take away this PAIN
I lay awake at night sometimes staring at the CEILING
I wonder if I'm still in your heart I wonder what you're FEELING.
How did we get to this point where we are TODAY
I mean us going to bed at night not having a single word to SAY.
I lay awake at night sometimes and I find it hard to BELIEVE that you don't love me anymore and you really want me to LEAVE.
When we first started out it was all about US
But we can't stay together now because there's a lack of TRUST.
You are a part of me and for so long that's how it's BEEN let's discuss this matter further and see if you'll allow me back IN.
We both are the blame but I'll take the WEIGHT
I went against the plan that we had and that's what sealed our FATE.
Now I'm starting to get some sleep because you've had a change of HEART after the discussion we had you gave us another START.
There is a God after all and I no longer STARE
he showed me your heart again the heart that shows that you CARE.
I got away from our plan I'm the one that rocked the BOAT when you wanted me to leave I realized then it wasn't a JOKE.
It wasn't funny then but it's kind of humorous NOW
the positive thing that came out of this was you still need me AROUND.
