Everything turned into nothing

Once there was a girl,
So beautiful and pure,
Was working in a bar,
The age I wasn’t sure.

She definitely caught my eye,
She smiled over the shoulder,
That took me to the moon,
Everything else was over.

So I walk in her direction,
Without knowing what to say,
So I told her my name,
And ask about her day.

She said was a bit busy,
Because she was just starting,
She ask me to stay for a bit,
I couldn’t believe what was happening.

Such a beautiful girl.
Literally talking to me.
I didn’t want to screw up.
So had to wait and see.

The conversation flow,
For the rest of day,
Then I say goodbye,
And just made my way.

I was so excited,
how in love could I be?
I just talked to an Angel,
And the Angel talked to me.

Went back the next day,
Hoping that I could see her,
My heart was pumping out,
And I was a true believer.

I believed in the destiny,
And that she was the one.
I had to be careful,
And with time could be done.

I was going to do my best,
And prove that I was the right,
Will always be there for her,
No matter if is day or night.

And for a time was only that,
Meeting in the bar just for a while,
Then we went for walks in the park,
And the feelings just turn wild.

Every day I was more in love,
She was an amazing person,
But I didn’t know if was real,
Or just a simple diversion.

My friends try to talk me over,
And said that was no chance,
That she will never choose a kid,
It will never be a romance.

But I thought was real,
So I left them behind,
Stopped going with them,
And only her in my mind.

Then the day finally came,
To tell her how I feel.
With my heart said “I love you”
And that was real.

But the worst moment happened,
And I could see a tear,
She said she did believe it,
That i was being sincere.

But I was too young,
And another person had show up.
That she cared about me,
But was time to give up.

My heart was broken,
The floor just disappeared,
I only could cry,
And nothing was cleared.

So I had to accept,
Just let her live her life,
Always with the hope,
That one day she will be my wife.
