RARE

Rare

I wonder what it’s like, not be rare…
I imagine nobody bothers to stare
I’d fit in with the crowd
And maybe not be so loud
I could do certain things that are just out of reach
And I would definitely have the power of speech
I’d probably be able to think more clearly
And process thoughts without confusion or being teary.
I’d have the ability to balance and walk for miles
And more people might take time for smiles

But, to be rare…
I’m special, extraordinary, one of a kind
I have plenty of things going on in my mind
I have love for everyone and hugs aplenty
You just need to meet me and I’ll show you gently
I may be loud, but I have much to say
Although that might be in my own special way
I can show you and sign, a special language that’s all mine
I’ll let you in and show you my world
Because believe me, it’s wonderful…
A breath of fresh air

It’s really is something amazing, to be this rare
